Lynn Ruigrok

Executive Director

Lynn's main role is to make decisions in connection with the operations of the office and organization while meeting the objectives of the strategic plan. She supports Members & Provincial Officers in the area of charitable status, grants, finances, legal issues and ensures by-laws and policies are adhered to. Her past experience & education in accounting and business administration coupled with volunteer work and familiarity with rural life assist in her decision-making. Lynn, raised, bred and trained quarter horses and in recent years moved to the city (Guelph) for the first time.


Andrea Morrison

ROSE Program Coordinator/Newsletter Editor

As ROSE Program Coordinator, Andrea supports and assists Women’s Institute Branches in developing ROSE Sessions in their communities.  Andrea is also the Editor of FWIO’s provincial newsletter, the Home & Country ROSE Garden.  Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and a Social Service Worker Diploma.  Her education and experience and her passion for helping others allows her to encourage WI Members of all ages to share their talents and develop new skills.  Andrea grew up in Guelph and is happy to still call it “home”.

Naomi Cho

Office Assistant

As FWIO's Office Assistant, Naomi supports WI Members and FWIO staff by fulfilling various office administration tasks. She can be reached at the Provincial Office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Naomi draws from her B.A. Degree at the University of Toronto in Political Science and History, and volunteer experience with independent farmers in Nicaragua, aboriginal communities, and homeless individuals to contribute to positive community development across rural communities in Ontario.


Vicki Myslik

Receptionist

Vicki is the Receptionist for the Provincial Office, and works Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 4pm when FWIO is open to the general public. She answers the telephone, greets visitors, manages the membership database, ships supply orders and assists where needed. As a young woman, Vicki worked in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food in Toronto where she became familiar with Women’s Institutes. Vicki lives in Guelph/Eramosa Township and is married with two grown daughters.

Mary Chisholm

Bookkeeper

Mary is the Bookkeeper for the Provincial Office. She works Monday mornings, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30am to 2:45pm. Mary has a passion for "books". When she's not doing bookkeeping, she can be found scrapbooking or reading. Mary brings over 20 years of financial experience to FWIO, including a period with us in 2006/2007 and a contract with OMAFRA in the CAIS program.
