FWIO's Rural Voices Network (RVN) has launched the ‘Let Your Voice Be Heard’ Survey to examine what enables rural citizens to participate in the common life of their community, and to identify barriers to rural civic engagement.

The 2012 Annual General Meeting of the Federated Women’s Institutes of Ontario was held at the Kempenfelt Conference Centre in Barrie on January 5, 2012.  

Ruthann LaBlance, Manager of Digitization from the Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS), spent some time digitizing the Provincial Tweedsmuir History Books as well as all of the Home & Country newsletters - dating back to 1933!
